Stuck CD....
 

I have the Mach 1000 6-disk changer....I have a problem..

I went to eject the cd in cd slot #1 and now it wont come out and its stuck in there... It wont load or eject or nuttin..so basically I cant use my cd player right noww. :(

Has this happened to any of you? how did you end up getting the CD out ?

It happened many times to me. I took my key and stuck it in the right side and you will here it and it pops it out, you might want to invest in a head unit, or buy a iPod converter

i had the same issue. I took a flat head screw driver and pushed on the cd in slightly. as it would go back the player would try to eject it, after a few trys it came out. good luck.

Yea..before my CD got permantly stuck like it is now.. It would occasionally get stuck and I would poke at it, and then it will come out... This time...I poke at it and stuff and it dont wanna come out at all. The headunit just says CD error and it doesnt even TRY to push it out..I dont HEAR it trying to no more. ARGGGGGGGGGG so...where do i get another STOCK mach 1000 head unit from online? i wanna just swap it out myself. I dont wanna pay more money for a Whole new system.

my stock headunit, mind you i don't have the mach 460 or 1000, use to eat the cd all the time, I used to stick another cd in and it would cause it to eject.
to find a new 1000 headunit check ebay, or call some junk yards. I know there are a few online junkyards for stangs, but can't recall there websites.

I have a similar problem, I have a digital tape to audio cable adapter (for the mp3 player), the tape deck sometimes won't eject the tape, or if I turn the head units on it says ERROR and goes to the radio. The only way for me to get it out is, no kidding, to hit the top of the dashboard above the ventilation ducts with my palm, hard. After that, it works, like a good bitch. When my friends in the passenger seat try to do it, it doesn't work, only works for me. My car and I have a love-hate relationship.




Definitely getting a new sound system soon...lol. Mach 460's getting kind of old.

i see in your sig that u have a supercharger AND 4.10's waiting to be installed...bad idea...

I think you should get the 3.73 at the highest....

mcmmotorsports had 4.10's and a supercharger and loved it. just food for thought, always opinion i would say.
