Vert compared to hardtop?
 

How much slower is the 99-04 verts in the 1/4 than the hard tops? :confused:

Verts weigh like 3-500 lbs more or sumthing like that

If you line up beside a coupe (2 door) he has an empty back and you have two people riding back there. Hard to overcome. But the babes love the vert:icon_bigg

The weight difference is about 290# (300# some years), with the bulk of the extra weight in steel bracing to replace some of the unibody rigidity lost to the missing tin roof. The rest of the weight comes from the rear seat power windows and the power roof mechanisms.

Convertibles are NOT the choice for serious drag racers - they are lots of fun and the sense of freedom with the top down and blasting down a mountain road is hard to duplicate.

They are also serious babe magnets - no lie.
