i agree with a lot of what Red said. no girl ever comes before my good friends.... unless i'm married to her. if you are dating a girl....def off-limits. but i think this is one of those cases where it depends on the circumstances. if i'm dating a girl and we got real serious, then she fucked me over, then my friend goes after her..... thats no friend anymore. if its a chick i date for a few months, and we break up, couple months go by.... then my friend starts tagging it...... high five to him. i guess it's just how you look at it.

I'm in a similar situation. A very good freind of mine has a serious fucking love obsession with my girlfriend. He would talk shit about me when I wasn't around, and say he'd fuck me up and take my girlfriend. I'm gonna beat the shit out of him very soon.

i wouldnt waste my time...all it will do is get you in trouble. just dont hang around him anymore.

Best advice so far

Things have a way of working out......marriage is for better or worse, but girl friends should be for the better. If you broke-up, she is fair game. If you can no longer be friends with your friend, then he knows that too, but wants to date her anyway. Looks like poon comes before you.....so what. You learned a nice lesson.

BTW, your ex has a play in this too.

Now, for the other side......

I "took" my room mates g/f from him many years ago. It was a dick move on my part and I lost a friend over it. They were not dating but a couple months, but she was a big deal for him. Did I f-up?

I have been married to her for almost 15 years and have had three kids.....you tell me. Some things are worth loosing something over.

BTW, her story was VERY different then his. She asked me out, I pushed-back, and she told me that they were just casual and she had no real interest. In fact, she wanted to date me, not him from the get-go. I eventually took her word against his.

Like I said, your ex could very well be a willing participant and it may not be what it appears.

water brings up a good point and it should be noted...sometimes your friend makes up a romance with a girl and thats different...you know what i mean...the kind of guy who has a pretend romance with a girl who barely knows hes alive...then and only then is your buddy's girl fair game....but thats a totally diff situation than the original...oh and another situation...i took my buddys girl a long time ago...my pal and i were in highschool and he used ta always talk about his girl and tell me about their problems..long story short..i was a security guard in macy's back then and i was steady screwin the makeup girl...turns out the makeup girl was my buddy's gal and i only found out one night when we were hangin at his house and she came over...but i honestly didnt know and that shouldnt count....i file her under slut and she shouldnt make any man cry anyway...

My friends and i all have this unspoken rule that if were out and meet some women that there is no "Calling dibs" or any of that crap. All the women are 100% fair game untill they decide who they want to respond to and then everyone else backs off.

I dont know how many times back in highschool and early in my military career where i would be out with a buddy and we would run into some chick and he would say to me "Hey dude, dibs on this one, so back me up ok?" and then later on that night it would be pretty apparent that she was into me and not my friend who "called dibs" and then things get all dramafilled especially if the guy doesent figure it out. Then yer in that awkward position where he wants the chick and thinks he has a chance but she is obviously into you.

No calling dibs. All fair game untill they decide which of you and your buddies they are most interested in. At that point, everyone else backs off.

well now its just a joke to me... I talked to several ppl that are all friends with both of em. and it turns out my friend is a dumbass, he thinks that they are going out. will my x still thinks he is gay and said hell no they arn't going out... soo now its just something when i see him i laugh..
