Got my stripe kit, about 60% done!
 

Hey folks.

Got my stripe kit. I was worried about getting the stock hood and trunk stripes off. Used a $15 conair hair dryer and they came right off, took about 45 min to remove the hood, trunk, and rocker stripes.

Then i sliced up the 30 feet of 8in stripe i got to the right lengths, and so far i have the whole hood, trunk, and rear of car done with 8 inch silver stripes. I still need to do the roof of the car and down the front bumper, i wanted to have somone else with me when i did those parts in case i needed a hand.

LOOKS AWESOME!

Ill post some pics when im done. Once the front bumper and roof are done, im going to run the pin striping i got about 1/2in away from the 8 inchers all the way from lip to butt.

Those stripes are so easy to do you'd have to be a total retard to mess it up. <g>

tell ya what, they are not hard to do at all. I diddnt do the roof yet cause i figured it looked more like a 2 man job.
ill try to get some pics posted, hopefully ill have em finished this weekend

tell ya what, im kinda worried about doing the front bumper, the stripes are spaced apart about 1.5 inches, the vinyl will be crawling up the sides of the grill.

anyways, as soon as i finish them ill get some pics posted. so far, it looks awesome. <grin>
