im at level 18 i only have 4 hours of game play though. i suck at this game. i have everything turned on still. i dont think im ready for the ABS, traction control, or the stability to come off. this is the first race game i had since gran turismo on PS1 :ohsnap:

my 360 is banned from x-box live. apparently they know when you MOD it.

Damn, you must have done some serious MODding to get banned..are you sure they didn't ban you for misconduct or something? 'Cuz you can have a MODded xbox and a normal xbox and play online, and the normal one shouldn't give XBL any beef..so..they must have banned your live account, not the MODded xbox

it has something to do with the chip thats in it now. the guy that chipped it for me said i cant play online.

There she is, isnt the best, but I dont care, looks like what I wanted it to. The wing and the wheels are wrong, only because you cant paint the stock wheels or change the stock wing. And no rollcage

I've only played the demo but it just doesn't make sense them not including an in the car view. The game seems awesome for those who like racing sims though. Man I wish they would make a downloadable '04 Cobra for Test Drive Unlimited to add to my Ford collection. hehe..

I've had my 360(s) since launch. I would mod mine but they keep breaking and I keep having to exchange them. :crbaby: Original xbox is great for modding. :bigwink: A $50 modchip will make them do more than those expensive media pc's could ever do. A modded Xbox is a thing of beauty.

Man, I am about fed up with this shit.. I have a first shipment 360, and already have had the red lights of doom once.. After emailing xbox and getting little to no response I finally called and they told me that it would be $150 to service it.. Ha! I don't ****in' think so.. I argued with them and finally got them down to $75 and free shipping.. I still wasn't happy about that..

Now, this.. Damned thing won't play ANYTHING, games (xbox or 360), dvd's, cd's.. Nothing..

ya I went through 2 360's and finally traded my core in for an elite system 120 gig HDD and HDMI FTW!!

Yeah, that whole warranty thing blows.

In three days I went through 3 360's until I got one that worked from Best Buy. So far this one has been running w/out a hitch, but we shall see what happens in the future. My warranty isnt up until November...so lets hope it will die prior to then. Otherwise I'll probably shell out some extra dough for the extended warranty.

you could always try the old wal-mart switcharoo. if ya do, might wanna switch out the stickers with the serial #'s. a lot of people that get their consoles banned from modding do that, heh.

I dunno about you guys...or maybe its because I havnt dumped any tuning parts into my first car (What can I say...I'm not gonna waste $$ on parts for an Audi TT that I dont plan on keeping forever), but I find the turning and braking to be quite sluggish.

Maybe its because I'm used to Gran Turismo 3, but the turning in this game just doesnt feel that responsive. Iono, maybe its just gonna take some time to get used to a bit more. That and this Audi seems to be craptastic.

in my opinion, the GT series wasn't that accurate as far as a racing sim. i think forza does a lot better with realism. i hear the same thing from people who have played gran turismo their whole life and swear by it and they won't give anything else another chance in the realism department. then i find out theyre slamming the brakes through a turn at 60mph and wondering why the car isnt turning.

Yeah, its much more solid now that you upgrade and actually brake going in, coast, and then accel going out. Makes more sense...

Like I said earlier, I was a little more used to GT (and the most unrealistic sim, NFS) and was wondering why it always seemed sluggish when turning.

I'm level 27 now. Recently purchased cars: 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo, 06 ZO6, 2000 Mustang Saleen S281. The ZO6 is stock, 911 has about 600hp so far and the Saleen has around 650hp.

level 18 now...i built up the 03 goldstrund vette for the all motor race...i have got to say that the vette is a damn nice handling car in this game!! i have like 550hp...no slicks either and i can keep traction...top speed for 214mph...0-60 in a slow 4.2...slicks helps there

Yeah that Guldstrand Vette is pretty nice. I had to paint it though cause teh gold was hideous.

Well, Im without my xbox for a couple of weeks.. Thank-God that I called today, because my 90-day extended warranty was just about gone..

The support there sucks, but they are actually taking care of me good this time, without complaint.. Free Repair, Free shipping, an extra 90-day warranty when I get it back, and they are going to let me put a 1-yr warranty on it for $24.99 .

well i packed up my 360 in the suitcase. prolly wont play for another month or 2. the lingenfelter vette is too much. i left the motor alone and just added suspension and sport tires and there is no traction at all it gets loose too easy. i stopped at level 24...

Seriously...I was playing around w/ my Lotus Exige and found a tire pressure/brake combo w/ a lowered suspension that lets me fly around The Ring.

Frankly as far as im concerned, the only track that any car should be tested on is the ring :).
