Yeah...Fishy...I spoke with a few of the techs at the Subaru dealership that is next door to the dealership I work at and I learned a few things.

The guy who spoke the most of WRX's has two of them. A 2.5RS coupe with a built 2.5l Sti motor...he says 530AWP. Also a 2005 WRX. He laughed when I mentioned a VERY lightly modded WRX going 160. He said that he'd be happy to see 150 in a heavily modded one, speed limiter removed...Turbo upgrade etc. He did say his 2.5RS was good to 185 or so...that's with the 530 claimed hp though. He's saying stock WRX's are good for 135-145...with a Loooooooong stretch of road...no headwind...etc. 160 just seems plain silly.
