waxes

Hey everyone in the picture section iceman was talking about Zymol wax for his car. I am willing to try it but there are some pricey waxes. Some are 42.00 and up to 1500.00 dollars. Has anyone else used this Zymol wax and really how good is it. Icemans car is black and everbody knows when black is clean it is the best color. My 05 is legend lime. I see alot of pictures with some really nice shines so I am wondering is this wax worth it.

Zymol's good stuff...but it is pricey. IMO, Meguiar's NXT is much better bang for the buck.

Did some more investigating. Saw a couple of comparison tests. They placed Zymol against Zaino Brothers,Maguires, and one other one. While Zymol was very good Zaino brothers was better. This coming from a guy who had bought a 144.00 bottle of Zymol. Can't remember the web site but if you type in zymolwax the test is on a web site. Pretty interesting stuff the guy did like 4 or 5 tests and had others give their opinions. Well I went with the Zaino Brothers. Just ordered it hopefully will try it this weekend. Will post the resullts next week sometime.

NTX gives you a real deep shine, but it doesnt protect for very long. I like it a lot better then their gold class though. Gold class is great for like the first week, after that its like its gone....

I use the Megiuars three step process fter using thier claybar, and I love they way it works !! Granted my car spends most of the time in the garge and never sees rain or snow, but most people have a hard time believing my car is a 99. The Quik Detailer is a great product as well, real time saver..

Claying your car more than 2 times a year just starts to waste time. Ive clayed mine 3 times in the one year that ive owned it.

You only need to clay if you car's finish does not feel smooth like glass when you touch it with your bare hand.

Scroll down to the bottom of the first page...check out my post. NXT has the best longevity and durability for an off-the-shelf product that I've ever seen. From my experience, NXT holds up to alot of abuse. :D
