Ya'lls Friend in Cars,

You're right I hate them too. But not all of them run 19's Down at E town ( a track in Jersey) where we had domestics vs imports, the imports ran all over the stangs. mostly civics. wasn't that the stangs were bad drivers is just that serious civics have turbos and eat up the stang in the 1/4 race. but of course if all our stangs had turbos or SCs they would prolly never have a chance. I am terribly sick of what my highschool was (wealthy kids able to buy ferarris and wnet with a civic for the look). I still hate how performance or not civics they all sound liek crap and they are every where they just sound so horrible. but please never undestimate them, they are impressive lil ****s and definetly the muscle cars of the modern day.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to call them the modern day muscle car. Just rememeber, there's no replacement for displacement. They can spend tons of money adding turbo's and etc but if you spend the same amount on a mustang or put the same catagory mods on one - it's still no contest. Whatever they do, we can do better. (except the gas milage thing. lol. we're whooped on that one)

I meant to use it as a figure of speech, you are right there is no replacement for displacement. but you need to remember back in the 60's and 70's people were ripping 4cyl engines out of the lemans to drop in 8s much like kids with 4 cyl engines are trying to smack on turbo after turbo what im saying is that these are the new affordable cars kids are modding to be fast like america in the 60 and 70's had affordable cheap cars and the kids would buy and mod, hence they are unfortuantly the new muscle cars, they're not muscle but this is the era of imports , us with muscle are living in the past to an extent, but a past I would never like to forget about and I live the legend to the best of my abaility ^^

They're advantage isn't power at all, it's weight, my frinds car weighs 2100 the thing ****ing flies. if our cars were as light as theirs we would crush them. But it's true how engines can do better however their hp to liter ratio eats us up. honda and all those importers have mastered the 4 cyl engine, it is a work of art, like the k20's producing over 200 hp on a straigh 4 cyl with vtec is just an amazing engine.

You are certainly right when you say that they are the new and affordable cars for kids to buy and fix up.

Our cars certainly are not cheap :D

Yeah :( however any kid with enough work can afford monthly payments on a GT however the insurance may kill them their life would be dedicated to that car lol. damn you ford make the GT like 20k and the v6 like 15 they would get so many more sales.
