Was bored today so went 2 some ricer websites to look around and see if any claim to beat any mustangs and found an interesting discuion
http://www.eclipseforums.org/fortopic200179.html and my favorite comment i looked into getting a Mach 1 over my eclipse, and the only noticeable difference in the engine department is the working ram air hood vent, and a bit of header work, nothing like the cobra.... you arent pushing 340 stock out of a mach 1, not to say i believe the story above, alot of assumtions are made, but i would imagine that if you know you are going to beat a car, why wouldnt you toy with them? especially if you arent sure of the other cars intention to race jsut give it enough to see if they want to play.... thats what i do, no reason to get a ticket for no reason.... |

If it was supercharged, it would have destroyed you. Again getting back to the mach 1 with the guy i work with, the car, stock actually dynos at about 340 to the wheels. It could always be some mashed potato (if imports are rice then domestics can be something like mashed potato, right?) with GT stickers or something |

Wow! Listening to ricers talk about mach 1's is pretty funny. But you know the sad thing is I've seen info just as bad posted on mustangs sites.....but this is pretty bad! ha ha ha

I gotta say..... im pretty impressed....
i know all you see at the SRT-4mation is people talking shit. People on this eclipse site seem to have some respect for mustangs in general, i dont think i saw any of the standard boastful "Mustangs are slow as shit" comments. |

lol...the other day an eclipse pulled out in front of me...i had to slow way down..i changed lanes then floored it...lol
