OK so the other day i was driving down the highway doing 130(speed limit is 55) not even knowing it in my dads F250.. then suddenly out of nowhere i see police lights in the rearview so i pull over and went through the whole police thing made me step out of the car and then i was in handcuffs in the back of the cruiser had to spend sunday night in jail but luckily the car didnt get towed the officer had my dad drive it home.Now I have to wait until the summer to get a stang because i lost my lisence for 6 months....

How the **** can you do 130 in a truck and not know it? thats like the second dumbest thing i've ever heard on here. were you like drunk or something?

hmmm, not really sure how to respond to this other than to ask what city and state you live in and what color truck were you driving??

regardless of city/state/color of the truck, he was doing 103mph in a 55mph zone and a cop nailed him with radar. doesn't make a difference if he's 16 or 61, he's gonna be arrested because it's reckless driving (with the exception of some places out in the middle of nowhere in the western US on country roads, they generally dont care at night)

Jesus, 103mph and you didnt know. And you were in a F-250 and you couldnt tell. Sorry your deserve to loose your lisence for that. In large vehicle you should be more aware of the speed your going it couldnt have been a smooth ride. People like you that drive that fast in trucks are the ones that slow down the highway by losing control and causing accidents and killing people. I bet your insurance will be disgustingly high that you cant afford a mustang. And I say it's a good thing because I really think your parents need to evaluate having you even drive again untill your 18.

im going to agree with Icefreezen on the insurance and driving privileges. there is no way you cannot realize you're going that fast. if you honestly "didn't realize it", maybe you really shouldn't be driving because you "won't realize" there is a pedestrian crossing the street or another car merging and then someone will really get hurt.

...and have fun finding a decent insurance rate with losing your license for speeding on your record :nono:

he kne he was speeding, he's just trying to take some of the guilt off of him.......you dont just not notice ur going twice as fast as traffic, i could see 10-15 but u were 48 over.......

when im doing 90, i KNOW im doing 90. during rush hour, a good portion of the traffic is cruising with me. if i go any faster, i know it too. regardless of how fast youre going, you know it. the guilt lies solely on him, :topicclosed:

I can't agree with you more lol, I just want to know where he lives, cuz if he's in Austin, I want to avoid him on the roads like a plague. It would also help me to know what color truck to look for.

good luck with insurance. if you would of been going 7mph faster, youd be still sitting in jail.

LOL, aye, he's 17 so I doubted he would listen to what anyone here would be saying, cuz his post screams for being flamed, unless he was actually looking for sympathy, I just figured he would get defense, so I just wanted to know what to look out for when I'm driving.

i guess i realized it but in my head i was thinking im not gonna get caught but i definately learned my lesson.....never going over 85 from now on...ill keep everyone updated with what the judge tells me...i have court on february 17th

but good... glad ya lost your license... maybe ya learn a bit... theres no way to do almost DOUBLE the speed limit and not know it...

and just some advice... if you plan on doing 85 in a 55... well do the math... that 30 over... so ya'll lose your license again...

Take it easy... theres nothing so important that you need to risk your life and others for...

ya know truck tires ain't designed to be going at over 100mph... if one was to blow out for any reason then you'd be ****ed...
