Tint
Someone shattered my passenger side window last night. Today i went to have the window replaced and re tinted. I bought the car with tints so i don't know what % they are, but i'm guessing 35%. The guy looked at it and said that they are 35%. When i pulled out of there i noticed that the new tint is slightly darker when looking from the inside and outside. Is it only this way because it is new? Is there less than a 35% tint that may be on my other windows? Is there a possibility that they put 20% on instead of 35%, or would the difference be very noticeable?

from what i've seen, 20% and 35% look very different when viewed side by side.

When I got my window retinted (courtesy of the US Customs dogs), it looked darker than the other windows. Eventually when the solution dried, they matched perfect.
