Cancer is Crazy :(

So a guy that worked for my company had been in the hospital doing chemo after coughing up some blood a few weeks ago. They did one last scan on him and found it has spread and he had a tumor on his brain stem. This was last week and they gave him 6 months to live. This past Saturday it caused a lesion on the brain stem. By that night it had taken his vision, Monday it had taken his speech, and yesterday afternoon it took his breath and he died at his home. Crazy how fast things happen. Last Monday he told everyone he would be back to work January 6th. Being told you have 6 months to live and you die the next week. Sad day today in our office. He worked for us 8 yrs and 7 of those I worked under him. Great guy :shakeno:

Just a little reminder of how fast things can change and to never take anything for granted..Parents, family, friends.

Friend of mine had sever back pains/problems for over 2 years. The doctor's kept diagnosing him wrong. Turned out, he had stage 4 cancer. Lucky enough, he beat it after a few months.

Sorry to hear about it.

Yah that stuff can happen anytime to anybody. There was a guy i worked with in his Mid-40's who could outrun a freakin horse.

heart gave out a few months ago and he died.

life is precious, gotta enjoy it while you can.

my uncle was recently diagnosed with cancer in his glands. Its totally taken over his liver and he has less than a year. He was crazy fit, rode his bike to work, ran over 10km a day etc... Now he gets tired from gonig up a few stairs. The really sad part is his two 8 yr old boys dont totally understand whats happening...

My grandfather had 5 or 6 different kinds of cancer

He did chemo and radiation and meds and surgury... did them all at some time or other...

For 15 years he fought it...

He had 1 kind of cancer, in time he got rid of it
a year or 2 later it would come back... and he would fight it off again
after it was gone for awhile... It'd come back...

He had cancer so many times it was rediculous... He was a little Italian guy... He fought in WWII... well he didnt shoot a gun or nothing... he was a cook... lol

He's one of my role models... went down swinging... Little guy that overcame everything that was thrown at him...

But cancer is like the devil
