Exchange your guns for Guns N Roses concert tickets (not a joke)
 

Check out this San Francisco Chronicle article that is about the City of Oakland asking people in the two roughest neighborhoods in Oakland to turn in their guns and get free Guns N' Roses concert tickets. The sad thing is I used to work with the guy who came up with the idea...brilliant idea..ha ha ha....Apparently they did the same program a while back, but gave people computers in exchange for their guns....now that's a better deal!

people will be PISSED when GnR cancels the show! i work for a ticket broker and we wont even sell tickets for their tour because they just cause so many problems with canceled shows because "Axl cant drink on stage" :ohsnap:

I just saw Guns N Roses a few weeks ago here in south florida, its awful, the only person from GNR is axle which is crappy now.

I've heard that about them also, but I don't think that will be an issue because nobody from the neighborhoods they are targeting will want to see freaking guns n roses...ha ha ha....the writer said giving people in that neighborhood Gun N Roses tickets is like giving cats tickets to a dog show..ha ha ha.....i guess it's just random and that's why the article is so funny to me.
