Lesson to be Learned:

so lemme tell you how my friend is an idiot. he was at a party about 10 mins away from my friends house where i was staying. he had 12 beers in him already and he drove over. after he made it over drunk, he proceeded to drink more. by the end of the night he was completely trashed. he ran out of cigs and wanted to go to WAWA (gas station/shop n go). we told him 140957234095710238450198712 times he couldnt go. so when we all went to sleep, he went out to get a pack of cigs. my friend had called him and asked where he was. he was at wawa w/ 20 beers in him. 45mins later (its a 1 min drive to the place) my friend calls again and asks where he is. he said that he was right down the street but his car died on him. so its now 4 am and we go get him. its too dark to see whats up with the car so we go home. i had to leave before anyone got up. so i rode past where we picked him up and didnt see his car, but he was still at my friends house. i found out yesterday the car was impound and wrecked. let this be a lesson, dont drink and drive. im surprised that he made it as far as he did tho im not very proud of him for sneaking out

Friends don't let friends drive drunk.

GREG@SN95 11-30-2006 10:02 PM

hope he learns his lesson... he's damn lucky he didn't hurt anyone

SnTBakosFinest 11-30-2006 10:16 PM

Very lucky he didn't hurt someone, or get pulled over. Although, they might still be able to bring him up on charges for uh.. leaving the scene of an accident or something can't they? =x Eitherway.. not your guys's fault..you tried to keep him there. Friends do stupid shit sometimes. =p

well theres a way around that...

If he said that he was driving... wrecked... and woke up all confused and wandered dazed and confused...

know what I mean? LOL...

I'm suprised you didn't hide his keys. I've got this one friend who always thinks he can drive around when he's drunk, even though he's a shitty driver even when he's sober. before he gets too drunk, we take his keys and hide them. Anyway hopefully your friend learns a valuable lesson.

GREG@SN95 11-30-2006 10:51 PM

I have driven drunk... I was told I did well... but we were all drunk... there was good reasoning for it... The Frat house dog was hit by a car... evidently I was the least drunk...

by anyway...

Other then that ONE time I will not drive... even if I just had a few sips of JD
or a beer or less...

won't do it...

1 big reason I don't want to lose my license... but more important... I wouldn't want to hurt anyone else...

Even though I'm pretty sure I COULD drive fine drunk... There are other people on the road... and if they **** up w/ their driving I'm not sure if I'd be able to react...

Your friend is very Lucky... He destroyed his car... (I hope it was nice and he liked it) But he didnt get hurt, or hurt anyone, and he will most likely not get in trouble with the police...

Hope he learns his lesson...

When me n my buds drink we don't hide eachothers keys... we are like brothers and don't need to worry about anyone doing anything silly... lol...

You haven't met my buddy, he's pretty dumb and we have to keep him from doing and saying retarded things all the times. He's gotten his ass beat by the cops like three times because he always mouths off to them. he's one of those guys that thinks he's invincible because he's HUGE. But he's the only person who's keys would need to be taken, the rest of my friends have some degree of common sense.

ya... I don't hang out with people like that...

Theres ALOT of people I'm friendly with...

but my friends are family... shoot, in highschool we got in trouble... the VP and a kindergarten cop were asking us questions for an hour (seperated) Then they came in and told me that Matt said I did this n that... I laughed at them... then they said that they knew james did this n that and all i had to do to get off the hook was admit it was mostly him... I told em they'r have better luck asking me to cut off my arm and give em my guitar... lmao

It was for the stupidest crap too... noone told em jack...

IDK... we trust each other 100%

My bud matt actually drove up to newark to pick me up @ school when I got in trouble up there... He could have gotten kicked out of his house for that... and I'd do the same for him...

stories like this blow my mind

Codiddy 11-30-2006 11:23 PM

Yeah it's good to have friends like that, Friends you've known since like elementary school. Funny thing is, My dumbass friend is one of those kinds, he may be a botard, but if shit went down i wouldn't want anyone else by my side. I guess thats why i still hang out with him all the time even though he's a dipshit, Loyalty.

rebelyell 11-30-2006 11:23 PM

Back in the day....... I wouldn't think twice about going to the store for some cigs after drinking a frazillion beers. But back then the cops usually didn't care unless you were in the wrong lane. But today, you can be going home after working late into the night and just going home and be suspect drunk driver, they are out there and they are dangerous. Anywho, long story short, Take a bunch of cigs and beer with you and stay put.. I wont drive if i have had 1 beer now. Not even 1. My first beer of the day is when I aint gonna drive anywhere at all.. :beerchug:

PureStang 12-01-2006 03:33 AM

there was no way we could get his keys cause they were in his pocket and we werent gonna reach...after about 20 beers he was still standing. i even nudged him and he kept his balance. he is only 19 or 20

Codiddy 12-01-2006 03:49 PM
