Give up on selling?
So, I haven't had a call in 2 weeks, and it's been for sale for almost 3 months I think.
I'll be making about $1100 after I get my car fixed. that's the left over money from the insurance check :D I've been thinking about keeping it. I'm gonna see how easy it will be to re-install the front bumper and side skirt WITH OUT cracking the paint. If all goes as plan, I might take off my rear bumper and side skirts and have them re-painted. Re-install myself and visually the car would look very very good, like show car paint worthy. If I do keep, I might get new rims with some beefier rear tires, 4.10's, and maybe a new suspension set-up (Bilstein shocks/struts, subframe connectors.) After that, IDK? I'm starting to realize I may miss my car. |
good choice!

yea..you might as well keep it...it may be tough money wise but hey...jsut bum off the parents and use their car for a "while" ahha

If I do keep, I have some maintenance to do.
1.) Fix seat belt retracting system, passanger's needs to be replaced 2.) fix diffential gasket. Leaking fluid ever so slowly 3.) Fix interior panels, rattling. Gonna try backing them with sound proof material 4) Need new tires BADLY. Prolly get new rims in the mean time before spring 5.) Fix urethane bumpers, needs re-painting, cracking everywhere So, as you see, I have lots of work to do. |
git r done

My old mustang had a warranty, so it was fixed for free. Common problem on the Mustang, but I don't know 100% how to do it. Maybe R3dn3ck or someone might chime in. Some bearing or something needs to be replaced I'm pretty sure, but it's a PITA to do.
