well, the RTM version (the one that should be released to the manufacturer is available if you look in the right places. and yeah, MS has sent me plenty of beta copies as well, but this is the whole thing, "finished" as they claim, but i wouldnt put my money on it. theyll make changes before it comes out, but so far its a solid operating system as long as you have a pretty up-to-date machine.

everyone always says theres a lot of bugs with a new operating system. sure there may not be device drivers yet for certain pieces of hardware, but i have yet to experience a bug or crash in 3 days of using vista.

when is the new OS supposed to come out...i may wait to buy a new laptop for a while
