Rim question
 

Mt stock tires on my 04gt are 245/45zr17. The rims are 17x8. I need to know if 17x9 rims will fit on these tires?

They will, but its gonna look funny. Why get wider rims if you're not getting wider tires?

I want to keep the tries, they only have 2000 miles on them.

its going to look like you have triangle tires on a wide rim. Youll eventually wear em down funny and shorten the life of the tire.

Dont do it. It will not look right and further more probably not be that safe.

Sell the tires.
