Jack, just curious what brand did you use? I've used VHT nightshade tint and it had work great! No complaints from anyone. I'll post pics of mine later tonight hopefully, I've washed the car several times and it's still the same. And $29 for a can...thats outragous! I pay $8 a can for VHT. Also, you might not have preped the lights properly...wash them with Windex with Amoania for best results. If not the tint will peel off.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/spray-...nt-smoked.html

8 bucks a can? Hell. i might go for that.

Naa, i cleaned the hell out of the lights. I took em off the car, brought em inside, cleaned em with formula 409, then followed it up with windex. by the time i was done they were as clean as they day they came off the factory.

I would imagine SOME of the paint would rub off, but this is rediculous.

Actually not one of MY CUSTOMERS EVER reported it. They did with these other "window" tint ebay ones though :kekekegay:

I've heard that some guys spray on a clearcoat after using the tint spray to protect it from the elements.

Hey Autobadges!

Yeah we had a couple people report with the tint it would melt thier tail lights or dumple them in or something like that. LancesSVT had that problem on his GT before he sold it i guess.

I dunno, maybe they bought some cheap knockoffs.

I might be swinging you some business soon, i liked the smoked look. Now that i had my "Smoked" trial period with that spray crap.

lol
