Gay or not?

So anyways, today it was pouring quite a bit today! From the parking lot to my first class is a bit far! So before I left for school today I asked my old lady for a small black umbrella! When I got to class, a few of my friends were harassing me about using an umbrella saying it was gay... Now I could understand a big ass pink umbrella or something like that would be gay but I just couldn't figure why they thought it was gay! They were all like, men don't need to use them, the rain ain't gonna kill ya etc, etc...So for all the guys here...do you use an umbrella or not? I usually never use one but today it was raining hard...but whatever...

Discuss....

I think you care too much about what people think of you. It shows a lot when you dont care about stupid remarks like that. I dont see anything gay at all by using an umbrella. Specially sice it was a small black one. Atleast you didn't walk into class dripping in water.

The more i think of it thats really quite highschool shit, not using an umbrella?, I work with clients and im always in a suit and a tie. And carrying around my laptop, i sure wouldn't want to walk into my office dripping in water. And im sure if one of my co-workers came in all dripping in water my executive wouldn't approve of that. Plus picture talking to a chick in class, you really think shes going to find it very "manly" for you to be all soaked?. Stop caring what people think of you, specially if its guys.

Who cares what they think.....Dude, I wear a suit and tie just about everyday and your god damn right I use an umbrella when it's raining out. I can't walk into a meeting looking like a bum that isn't smart enough to use an umbrella out when it's raining.

If you don't have an umbrella, then by accepted Man Law (as I read it) you are required to stand tall and proud as you trudge through the day making no outwardly obvoius body language or speech to suggest you are anything but totally comfortable and enjoying yourself. To do otherwise is defacto ghey. Not gay, that's happy or homosexual and neither of which apply.

If you do have an umbrella and you don't use it, you're just dumb and no longer protected by Man Law. You may, and should be taunted mercilessly as a goof, dork, dufus, etc.. but not ghey.

If you do have an umbrella and do use it when it's actually raining (not sprinkles, drizzle or mist but RAIN) then you are still covered under Man Law and should not be taunted. As I understand Man Law you are also required in this case to verbally torment the men standing around in the rain without umbrellas, pointing out their lack of preparedness, general misfortune or questioning their sexuality/parentage/sanity/intellect/etc...

Can I get a Whooooooooa Man Law!

man law is great but an umbrella case is a line boundry. it may be crossed in the event for a few friendly jokes among exactly that, friend. It is good for two jokes each then all umbrella talk must cease to exist unless another member brings one.

Ponchos aren't gay if they are worn for an extended period of time while working outside. They also must be a solid color.
