Well, i might as well start intake shopping.

I waisted all that time changing the water pump. I actually pulled the pump out twice and changed the O ring. But i tell ya, the way it is leaking it was very hard to tell. I couldnt tell until i started to hear water hitting the headers.

After getting my ass whooped by headers, replacing the intake should be a walk in the park.

I think my saga is never ending.

Reichard Racing FTW!!!!!!

Yeah, they're $1800 but damn they would go well with that s/c.

Thats way out of my range. I am looking into a used Bullitt or a Typhoon.

I would actually buy this one.......I would also make a heat shield or a custom cover to go over the top and put my nitrous solonoids under the intake which I also assume has to be fabricated but not difficult.

you could also fit a small nitrous bottle under that intake

That wouldnt be wise.......unless you want a bottle to burst. But some ideas are starting to pop into my head of what I could do with that space underneath.

Any idea on the price of that?

Edit: I just checked on modular misfits of the FINAL prototype and they are going to start selling them for just under a grand. Which isnt shabby and they actually have dyno numbers to prove the gains within the power band. If I wanted a race intake this would be the one.

foncarelli 10-10-2006 03:06 AM

Looks like i would need some helluva hood clearance.

Yup, thats the new one with the T/B on the side. God I wish I could get a freebie...lol

foncarelli 10-15-2006 12:43 PM

This is kind of tempting. I can put another plastic intake with the aluminum crossover on, for under 200 bucks.

When i said tempting, i meant compared to the 500-800 bucks i would be spending on a Typhoon or Bullit intake.

foncarelli 10-15-2006 01:55 PM

Thats not bad either from American Muscle. Is that where Rabbit got his intake? I still cant get Mustang Tuning out of my head.:shock2:

with which hood?

it should fit the stock hood fine..considering..bullits had the some hoods. and if it clears the GT hood..which im 99.9% sure it does, it should fit just about any other hood, stock hood is pretty low..
