So,

Since I've got my mustang and started driving it for awhile, I've noticed something odd. Why is it every retard in a ricer feels the need to try and race me at stop lights, reving there engines like idiots? I fail to see the point of this? Can some of you seasoned stang drivers enlighten a new comer?

Best advice i can give you is dont race them, I had a v6 once, not very fast

Its more for like going around pimping a chick or two and saying you have a mustang and having nice looks. When I use to try to race my v6 id lose to a lot of things.

they rec on you because they know that they will own you. thats why!!!! dont worry i been taken out by some turboed integras before i was supercharged. now all i have to worry about is sprayed LS1's and some crazy tuned imports and of course turboed mustangs and pullied cobra's.

Like others have said....they do it cause they probably can beat you in a race and they love going back to their little gay friends and telling them "I beat a mustang today". Don't let them bother you, just don't even look at them when they rev you.

yeah man, don't fret, just do what you do with your car and forget the $2000 Integra with the 4 spare tires and twin turbo, lol, and don't count yourself out, it's a known fact $2000 into a V6 can get you runnin into the high 13's easy....

yeah don't race, it is most of the time embarassing what you can lose to, buy some big ol' tires like me and hope that scares them off, it works in my town. only downside is then it attracts some really freakin' fast cars.

They dont mess with me really. I know most of the serious car guys around here and whats being ran, or know whos getting what. Most people hear my exhaust and get scared.

LOL... i hear that. most of the riced out cars dont even try when they see 315's and hear the exhaust.

The only people who have really been interested in getting me to race are the guys running around in twin turbo'ed sleepers. lol...

the way i see it, the Fast & Furious ricer kids usually dont do much more than a fart cannon and cai, then they spend the rest of thier money on appearance to make it look faster than what it is.

they get mad beats, yo. flip out tv, with amps and subs and components. i dont even give in with those guys unless i hear a blow off, or see a front mount. and ill usually get my ass handed to me. those little turbo vtecs are fast. they usually have engine swaps as well like b16, or the k20s or k22s, whetaver they are.

One of our buddies with a bone stock 04 cobra ran an integra with quote "Over $30,000 in performance parts" swapped out EVERYTHING and twin turbos, even had weight reduction **** all over the car and all these crazy parts "important from japan". Well fact of the matter is even with all that he couldn't beat a bone stock cobra. Oh well.

i dont think its even possible to rack up $30,000 in performance parts on an integra if you do it twice.

I use to get tried all the time from imports with my Old SVO. I had a single 3" exhaust so they would think its a 4cyn NA with body mods little did they know that the body was stock and all the work was under the hood. With my GT I dont get tried by ricers only other V8s.

Sure you can. Swap it out with a performance part called Loaded 2007 Ford Mustang GT
