Finally getting the H&'R's installed..

well, Ive had the H&R's sitting in my room for a couple months now, and haven't had time to throw em on. So I made an appointment at my boys shops, and hes going to throw them on for me for short money. Im excited to be getting them finally on! hes installing them next tuesday!

DarkSith 09-25-2006 04:47 PM

You'll love them, they totally chang the attitude of the car.

Stan 09-25-2006 04:52 PM

oh ya forgot to ask what is a average cost for spring install?

DarkSith 09-25-2006 04:56 PM

I was quoted $300, but I did them myself.

Fat Lard 09-25-2006 05:04 PM

I also did it myself.

Ghostalker 09-25-2006 05:07 PM

me and my pops installed my C-springs on my old six... not a hard install really.

zigzaggthefag321 09-25-2006 05:07 PM

300 sounds ok..but its so easy to do you might want to try it yourself if you have time

BrentK 09-25-2006 05:08 PM

If you know him he'll probably do it for a good price but 300 is the average it seems

madmatt 09-25-2006 05:53 PM

Easy install, but Id pay AT MOST 200 bucks, and that is high imo, having changed them before myself.

i am kinda in the same boat as you man, usually me and my dad do everything, but a few months after I got my car and exhaust my dad had a heart attack at the age of fifty... its not that he is overweight, he isnt at all, it is hereditary, his brother (my uncle) had one at fifty aswell, six years prior. His mom died of a heart attack around the same age. The reasoning behind my father's heart attack is his dad (my grandpa, duh) died a month prior, and the stress nearly killed my dad. He was put in charge by his father to do all of the financial stuff, and he took it upon himself to do all of the labor, getting rid of everything after he passed etc. so yeah, anyway, We had talked about doing springs not a week prior to his heartattack, and I dont even want to bring it up again lol. honestly though, he is doing much better now, he did really well to begin with. He helped my oler bro install new rotors on his GT and all that jazz. So in reality, he could help me, but I wouldnt ask him lol.

sorry to hear bout the heart attack, glad hes doing better.. ya im in the same boat my dad is almost bed bound he needs both of his hips replaced, the doctor told him if he waited another year hed be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.. and my dads only 45 so.. but he helped me put my exhaust on and helped me with probably everything else ive done to my car so far so i wouldn't even attempted to ask him and all my friends r back at school so only option is my buddy's shop.. but its all good :)
