alright long story made short...
i know i guy that races corvettes...
he just bought a Z06..
he took me for a ride on the paved county road....
he pulls over and tells me to drive!!!!!!
he said to get to about 40 and put it in 4 gear....
i stepped on it....DAMN!!!!!!
i hit 80 like nothing then continued a little (wink wink) more....
he told me not to step on it in first or second....obvious reasons...
he also showed me how hard it can brake....wow....
it is an incredible car...
this guy is an incredible driver also....so even my mom was fine with him drivin me around...

current mods on it: LT headers and dumps...its loud!!!

I drive one everyday, and i have one parked in my driveway right now and its mine till next week. My co-worker owns a few supercars and when he goes out of town he lets me take care of one for the time hes out. But yeah, it dosn't let you go into second gear if your under 60 mph. And if its new you can step on it, with new tires you wont lose traction. its a fun car.

if the blue devil ever gets released hes trading it in for it. Hes also been thinking of trading it in for a gallardo.


these cars have too many problem's though, just last week the roof ripped off, and had to take it the dealer to get replaced and bolted down. This car is in service more then its at his house

well this guy has racing tires on it and they get better traction then stock...
he has i 2 other vettes that are even faster than this one.....they make bout 600rwhp....

he turned off TC and everything to get the better performance....
those rear tires are sooooo wide....
the fastest car i had ever ridden in was a Mustang Bullit....so for me to drive this was amazing....
plus u got remember im only 15 and some change...

Dude you're lucky as hell, there's no way If I had a Z06 I would let a 15 yr old kid drive it, or anyone else for that matter. lol

Looks awkward how the backing to the headlights is the same color as the car..kind of euro-wussie-ish.

Yes dude, these cars are complete rice. never race one too, were all just show and no go.

well... they could have been chrome, which would have looked even worse, and dark like the 01+ mustangs would have net been everyones cup of tee, would have been too dark, like, not everyone wants blackout headlights lol

You never notice it either way, when you drive the ambers are always on, plus I only take the car out at night, and its all blue HIDs. even the two fogs are HIDs.

If you were to see it in person you wouldn't talk ****.


Ferrari's are the same things too, so i dont understand why your talking **** about it. Your going to tell me a ferrari is rice too because of that?

oo bad there isnt more stages to Corvette's. It's basically your C6 and Z06, correct? Would be nice to have like a special edition or something even with though it's already an upscale performance car.

Yeah, there are small packages available to add, but as in like "really limited", they are trying to get the "Corvette Blue Devil" released, its 600HP.

As fast as they are, corvettes are way to problem-ridden. A common problem is the fuel gauge not workig correctly. You have to pull the tranny, driveshaft, and basically entire rear end carrige to get to the two fuel tanks. Its like a 20hr (list) job. Ive seen about 7 already come in with that. The Cadillac XLR has the same problem and its pretty much the same deal.

damn dude, im going to start checking that fuel gauge, but what els is new...
