allergies!
 

freaking hell im dying from allergies right now.. i hate trees and grass and all that crap that makes me feel this way.

anyone else get allergies? what do you get to make it go away? claritin and allerga don't work for me :(

I had them all throughout my childhood and early teens...I got 4 injections a week of concentrated versions of all the things I am/was allergic to and my body built up an immunity to most of it. It was hell back then, but I am glad I went through it. good luck.

wow that's crazy.. i lived a normal allergy free life until freshmen year of high school and now i get them almost every spring and fall :(

i took claritin back when it was a prescription drug, and it worked great. but its like i got immune to it or something and now it doesnt do ****.

Never had a problem with allergies. Thank God, b/c I grew up in OK. I suggest lots of alcohol, it won't clear up the allergies, but you won't care about them.:boink:

well, back then...the injections were the way to cure allergies...I think its still done today...I had VERY severe allergies. Claritin does stop working after a while...I wish I could tell you another way to get rid of your symptoms...I have no idea though. I know what your going through...it sucks.

They did the same to me. I remember getting a scratch test on my back, I was allergic to dust, cats, horses, mice, dogs, cows, pollen. You name it, i was allergic to everything they scratched me with. when they were done it looks like somone pumped about 12 rounds of buckshot into my back.

I had that same treatment. 4 shots A week for the first year, 2 shots a week the second 1/2 year, 1 shot a week the next 1/2, and one show every 2 weeks the last 1/2 year..

im not allergic to dogs anymore. Cats still make my eyes itchy and watery and swell, and my throat wheezes with cats..... but at least i dont die being around them.


Csledd. Try to get that Allegra D stuff. my allergies still act up, get on the perscription strength allerga. you have to keep taking it and it builds up quite a bitchin immunity.

if that doesent work, then you might wanna get a scratch test done and look into getting the shots.

When i was younger i was allergic to just about any pet and dust. But they just went away on their own.

I use to be allergic back in......errr...no I wasn't...sorry no allergies for me!:tongueout:
