Living in Iowa, it all depends on the winters, sometimes we get nothing, sometimes its snow/ice, and sometimes its both. But i just carry 2 seventy pound sandbags in the trunk and go slow. I dont really have to worry about unplowed roads, because i live on a major road by a school, and then the road i turn onto to go to school is a highway that runs through town so its always cleared.

Hope it's just snow and not ice. In Memphis whenit snows its usually ice. if you have traction control it will keep your engine in a continuous stall.just keep rpms low

Without snow tires it is a nightmare. Also, have fun getting in and out of parking spots. I had to drive my car for the first snow storm which was 6" with the stock Goodyears on it. Couldn't get out of a spot without someone else's help. Once i got my snow tires, we didn't have anymore big snow storms so i don't know if they help or not. I will have to wait and see this winter.

yeah when you start going, start off in 2nd, not as much power going to the wheels so you wont spin them
