Does it?

I got a V6 stang right now, but let's say down the road I got a GT and I wanted a system in it (I LOVE MUSIC). Would 2 12inch subs effect the speed of the GT due to weight or no? And let's say the driver (me) only weighs like 145. Would the 2 12's really make a difference? Just wondering.

You dont need 12s just get 10s with the same rms power plus they will be easier to fit and you will have move options in placement.

if you add 100 pounds, youll add a 1/10 to your 1/4 mile time roughly

look, subs come out of a car simple as unplug the 2 speaker wire in the back, so if you go out to race just take them out.

Many people will take out the backseats and passenger seats when they go to race. only takes a few minutes to do all that.

I used to compete around the surrounding states in SPL and had a Sq truck that took 5th place at world finals in usaci, and I say go with a single 12, in a big enclosure, like 3 cubes after all displacment.
