Estimate price on my car??

How much do you think I could get out of my car from a dealer or private party?

KBB listed at 13,000
miles: 51K
Oxford White
Auto tranny
excellent condition
fully loaded with leather and Mach 460

So what would a dealer give me for it?

And how much would you meaning a private party pay for it? What do think I could get for it, I'm wandering if it would be more than a dealer.

MODS: Full Saleen body kit
Full SLP exhaust, catted X, LM2 and black chrome tips
Autometer cluster gauges
autometer lunar series tranny temp, a/f ratio gauge dual a-pillar
BBK CAI
XCal2
2 JL Audio 10" subs, 700 watt amp (if decided to keep in trunk)
tinted windows
lowered 1.5" with Eibach Pro Kit
18" Chrome rims

I think that's all. Of course I could take out some of the stuff and sell seperately if needed.

Any estimates???

11 trade in 14-15 private party
The dealership was going to give me 9500 for mine with 60K miles

why do you want to sell it??

ANYTHING you can take off and put the stock part back on, DO IT if yer gonna sell it. Those mods are worth NOTHING to dealers or for resale. In fact, they might lower the trade in value.

A lot of it you can sell used though

That's what I was trying to say if I sold to a dealer it would all come out except for the body kit and exhaust sadly.

As for private party I was hoping I could get lucky and find someone who would pay decent money for it.

why selling???

Cobra? mach? 05-06 GT???? minivan???

They will lowball the crap out of you to see if you bite, then offer you a higher price.
My idea would be like 8500 then 9500.

I'm not selling for sure, not even close to seriously thinking about it. But I am thinking about it.

I just turned 20. I'm in college and am trying to look ahead. I love my mustang, but paying 200 dollars a month and a killer insurance rate is pretty hard. Not to mention the constant maintance of little dumb things with aftermarket modifications. My saleen body kit looks like poop from up close and I'm tired of looking at it.

I'm tired of putting tons of money into my car and not being all that pleased anymore. I want to do it right, and well my financial status as of now just isnt letting that happen.

I'm looking into a more gas saving, but fun sporty coupe thats reliable and such.

Mustangs will always be here, and in about 10 years when I'm settled I'll be sure to buy another stang and do some real performance work and enjoy it.

I know there wont be a huge difference in gas savings, and insurance savings, but thats why I'm looking into it. BTW my car is my DD.

With this said, I'm somewhat interested in the Scion TC and have heard good things. But I'm just looking as of now.

Is it possible for me to see 13K for it from a dealer, trade in, or private seller? I think that's what I'm aiming for.

I see, yeah my car is a daily driver also, im in college but my car makes me happy, as far as im concerned college sucks and my car gives me something to do, there is nothing like not be able to wait to take my car for a ride even its just 1 mile away and taking the long way because its so fun to drive. if it wasnt for my car this past year, i probably would have gone insane, mustangs are my hobby. Yes paying 200 dollars a month for insurance sucks, if you cant afford it dont do it.
Just remember with cars you get what you pay for

Maybe 13k private party but a dealer wont give you that much...when I bought my cobra the dealer offered me 15 for my GT and it only has 5,000 miles on it

That's great advice.....when I traded my 03 GT vert in the dealership didn't give two craps about the mods I had on it so I took it home and took everything off and put it back to stock...then sold it on sites like this. That's the only way to get some money back you've spent on mods.

My 03 GT Vert had 34k on it and the dealership gave me $16,000 for it.
