Removing Rear Spoiler

What would be the best and/or easiest way of removing the rear spoiler from my car. Would it be easiest to buy a whole new trunk lid? Thanks.

there are 4 holes that hold it on that are under the trunk lid....then just get some body panel push pins and paint them the color of ur trunk lid...

if u wanna fork over the money for a new trunk lid then it would look better...

hope that helps

I removed mine and filled them myself, and painted it as well and I am NOT a body guy. You can see the holes in the right light but hardly anyone notices...they say, "How did you get a GT without the wing and hood scoop?"
Yeah I chucked the fake scoop as well. Again, you can see where it was in the right light, but hardly anyone notices. I did have access to a professional paint gun setup, but no paint booth or anything like that.
