01 Cobra I looked at today!!
 

Well was just out driving around today and thought I would stop in a local Ford dealer and see what they had.

When I pulled in I immediatly noticed a dark blue 01 Cobra sitting there.Well I pulled up next to it and got out to look at it and it was in decent shape and it was unlocked so I got in sat down and looked around.Found a new inspection paper that showed 64000 miles on it.The int. was in good shape and looked well taken care of.I popped the hood and shut the door which did'nt shut right for some reason.The engine looked awesome and clean like they always do at a dealer so I expected someone to come out and talk about it but nope :confused: So I drove up to the salesroom and asked what they wanted for it.

Well I'm thinking somewhere around 16 to 17000.The salesman tells me it's 21,500 :icon_bs: I just laughed and said that is way to much for that many miles.The crazy thing is he agreed with me!!

At the BMW dealership I work at, a guy traded in a heavily modded 01 Cobra with 74k on it and the used car sales manager was selling it for 13k. I almost got it..but I got my 01 GT with 22k on it instead. 21k is waaay too much.

lol damn...that 03 i was gonna buy had 20k miles on it...it was $21,800

whoever had that cobra worked the crap out of the sales manager and salesman. that means they own that car for 17k......hhahaahaha

I agree, that's too much money for an 01 with that many miles on it. You'd be better off finding an 03/04 Mach with low miles for $21,000

Oh yea guy's.There was no way I was even considering it.I just could'nt believe what they were asking for it.

That's f*cking crazy man. When I was going to trade my GT in, I found a black convertible '01 Cobra with 18" Saleens for $16,900 with 60k miles. Not to mention the '03 Mach 1 I found in Virginia for $15,900 with 43k miles

Lance, if you get a 99,01 cobra before a mach. I'll shoot you :beerchug:
