Yea I know I have always said they are not worth it but I now have the K&N FIPK :pepper: :banana:

And now I hate to say this but it does seem like it added some extra HP.I don't know for sure but it seem's to me like the Accufab TB/PL needed the extra air intake it is getting.The throttle response seem's alot better.

I installed it Thursday and would have pic's but it's been raining almost non stop here all week (again) and I never noticed how damn dirty my engine was getting and don't want pic's of a dirty engine to show everyone.

intakes by themselves add a little horse but when it is combined with a full exhaust and engine work it adds more and is good for the car

i was gonna buy shadows but it was destroyed when he really looked at it.
i want to get the steeda one with the carbon fiber tube but i cant justyify spending more than 100 bucks on something like that. haha

how do ya clean yer engine?

I tried it with some degreaser from pepboys and all it did was gum up the solonoid...

I usually just wipe it down with some cleaner and rag's.Might try and wash it this time though :confused:

wednsday is my last exam...
so... thurs i'm gonna clean the whole car + engine... and put new pads on in the front... after I get a job, then wheels, I'm gonna invest in a buffer and take all those :censored: nicks out of the paint...

Find the CD2 Engine Cleaner kit (Pep Boys, Autozone, Etc...), it's a two part cleaner/degreaser and finish. Works really well.:beerchug:

Your throttlebody and plenum is nice and shiney. Mine got stained when I was cleaning it with a heavy duty degreaser. Someday ill get some polish and fix it up but everything else is super clean.

Mine is almost all dust.It was dry as hell here all winter and the dust was horrible.And it's a DD. :)
