To K Member Or Not K Member...

I am getting my L/T's this weekend but I am not sure if I should wait and get a tubular K member before I do the install. I am not a drag racer or anything like that, but figured, since I am removing the stock one, maybe I should replace it with an aftermarket one. Thoughts?

No. Ive heard to stick with the stock one, besides, whats the point. IMO, the only Kmember worth putting on would be the MM one, cause its about the only one I trust to keep me safe in an accident. BUT its like 2k for the whole setup (maybe more). I would however, put in a new clutch when you do the LT's.

I agree with madmatt even though I have a PA Racing k member myself. If you say you're not a drag racer then I wouldnt get one.

For some reason I remember reading that some aftermarket k's move the front wheels back 2". Could be wrong tho>ne one?

Ive heard that some do that as well.

I haven't had a single problem outta my D&D k-member...

I know for a fact UPR's Full front susp. doesnt move the wheels back. They had it on sale for 600 at FFW... i almost bought it with the money i dont have... all i got was rear control arms, lol.

K members are not just for drag racing. they are very good for overall handling with the right setup. they lighten the front end and improve the suspension geometry.

Sorry, but I wouldn't buy a UPR "anything" that has to do with the driveability or safety of my car.

If you're going to do it, go with MM's K-Member, its probably the best on the market.
