Getting ready for my catback install

Well my SLP catback is coming tommorow (Monday) and I plan to install it as soon as I get home from work. So today I am going to get the ball rolling by cutting my stock catback off. This will be my first time doing this, so wish me good luck. I am thinking if I can get everything ready to be installed tommorow it should be done by dark. I get home at around 6:00 so I should have enough time.

I will post some pics of everything as I go along for you guys to see as well. I plan to leave my car home and take my dads truck to work tommorow, in case you guys were thinking I was going to drive around with no mufflers after I cut them out today, lol

BTW....got my SLP catback from MT...w00t :)

LOL I was kinda worried about the mufflers thing myself. That would be loud as crap. Well good luck with the install, I hear it isnt too hard. Make sure you get us some sound clips as well, alright man? Good luck.

I wish I knew someone that could get a sound clip of it for me. All I have is a digital camera :(

Catback is in :) Me and my dad finished up last night. It sounds great, really wakes the car up from that boring stock sound. Very well made, I love the tips also. I wish I could get a sound clip for you guys, but I can't :( they don't call it "Loudmouth" for nothing ;)

Pretty loud? This is the exhaust I am thinking of getting. It's not too bad is it?

No it isn't to bad at all. It sounds really good though. It is a different sound than the typical Flowmaster setup that EVERY mustang in my town has. My goal for my car was to be a one of a kind in my town until someone decides to copy me. You will not be let down by the sound at all, sounds great. And the best price on the net was right here at MT. I'm sure if you mate it up with a o/r X pipe it will get very loud though, so that is probably my next step. You can never have a mustang to loud ;)

Not a big notice in power really. Once you see the SLP pipes compared to the stockers you will be amazed at how much more the SLP flows though. The sound is great. I cannot wait to get an o/r X pipe next.
