Body Work Estimate....

I'm going to be repainting my ground effects this Spring. The kit is fiberglass and pretty much just needs to be taken off, stripped, painted, and re installed. I'm also going to have my side scoops done as well because they're are quite a few rock chips from the previous driver's highway driving.
Also, I'm going to have the inserts from the Saleen pieces (the little mesh screens) repainted black because some are f**ked up.

What would be a good price for all of this?

A few months ago I got a really quick quote from a guy who said it would be about 250 for the front, 250 for the rear, and 250 for the sideskirts.
So total about 750 for the peices. I'm just gonna say another 250 for the side scoops (I'm guessing here, it really shouldnt be that much)
Total would be about 1000. Is that good for what I want or could I find it cheaper?

1k seems about right. im always on the lookout to meet somone who paints cars for a living. im trying to teach myself how to do it too. Once of my friends has a cousin who does custom paint jobs, he is wanting to meet up with me, i might be able to go there and work on the side and get some exp.

if you can get in good with a guy who does it you can have it done for dirt cheap. 1k seems like a decent price though, however, even with the color code they will not seamlessly match your car, as the stock paint fades over time. with it being white, it might not be too noticeable.

The guy I'm thinking about doing it is at a pretty nice local performance shop. They're more so a tuner shop and such. I've been there a few times and they've done some service on my car, such as my car alarm. Being with tuners and imports, all the body kits that those cars have are fiberglass. Knowing this I figured he was very good/knowledgable with fiberglass and how it works. That 1K also included repairing any fiberglass damage, like with my rear bumper. BTW this is why I'm getting this al done.
