GT500 Spotted - sorry no pics :(
 

So I was on my way up to denver a day or two ago...and in the oncomming lanbe of traffic, I saw what I thought was a typical 06 red GT with stripes..as it got closer I noticed, a MEAN ass stance...then I noticed the different grille and headlights...It ROARED pass me...it looked amazing...pictures do these cars no justice, they look plain evil on the road..I almost pissed my pants....god I want one..

I was hoping you were talking about a real shelby....such as 66's, 67's 68's..............................................

Those things are all over denver. Lots of clones, but they have origionals too.
I was on my way to work a few months ago or so, and on the highway we passed about 7 of them.

Probaly most of the ones you see are clones. They can get them to look close, but the snake stamped vin tells it all. I think the performance of the new shelby is badass, but the looks are soo ****ty. Where are the c-pillar scoops?

I love the 07 shelby's.. id love to have one but ive seen auctions on ebay for them.. winning bid is for what you pay over msrp and they usually end at like 40-50k lol..

I don't believe there are ANY GT500's out yet and certainly Co. would be a strange place to see one. Michigan perhaps. I would tend to think it were a clone, but who knows. That si the fun of clones.

Strange place to see one? Hell dude, in denver i see Bently's, porches, ferarris, maybachs, lambo's and stuff like that all over the place. Lets just say when you get to southern denver you see the same **** you see in hollywood. Supercars and other high end exotics are all over the damn place here. There are 3 different Ford GT's in littleton alone. We have lots of extremly large coorperations who are headquartered out here in the denver tech center.

As for the oldschool shelbys, there are 6-7 real ones in denver, i saw them at an auto show by columbine highschool that was hosted by the denver mustang club. plenty of clones too.

oh yah, and i saw a red shelby gt500 on the road today, following a real wierd looking legend lime 06. i think it was a gt, but the badging was all different, it even had the rear badge and trunk lock removed, shaved, and painted over.

trust me bake it was real, there have been several spottings over the nation...and they dont make an aftermarket GT500 style front clip

You really have to suck at life to **** one of these up...

I guess Ill just have to see one in person before I make my final judgement, but I just cant get into it.

the c-scoops look nothing like the 67'68's though. I admit in person i would probaly like one more, but i just think they could of done more in the looks department. I guess it is a shelby though and shelby is all about performance.
