Couldn't do a 2nd gear burnout
The first time i tried it in 1st gear. Reved it up to about 5,000rpms and threw my foot on the brake. Smoked them without a problem, just that i was bouncing off the rev limiter. Then i tried it in 2nd. Did the same thing. The brake pedal started pulsing, the car shaking, and it stalled. Tried it again, but forgot to turn the traction control off. The third time the brake started pulsing right away, so i just let off. What's the deal? Did i just hit the brakes to hard? 1st gear burnout the car just sat there, the 2nd gear one it felt like the brakes couldn't hold the car.

Maybe you just dont have enough power to roast em in second.....
|
get some 4.10's....shouldnt be a problem after that....
|
haha for real.. this past weekend i turned my line lock on and did a burnout in 1st gear, shifted to second and kept burning em and then i shifted to 3rd and kept going.. 3rd gear smoked em pretty good
|
ur gonna burn up ur engine and clutch trying to do a burnout in second w/ stock gearing.....ive tried and failed miserably and was done doing burn outs in second....
peel outs in second are great cause they spin a lil w/ a squeak |
eh... yer gonna kill yer clutch... :nono:
If you can shift REALLY FAST... spin em in 1rst then shift to second... ya'll need to use the "heel toe" method... oh yeh... ya'll kill yer tire too...:devil2: *EDIT... take a quick look at my sig for an example of killin tires... lmao |
or just get a line lock :)
i love that thing! |
