Just pumped some gas yesterday @ 2.33 for regular. Went to lunch only to find out it has gone up $.20 cents in one day.:rolleyes:....WTF happened to $.10 cent a day jump.:rolleyes:...

Not to offend anyone or start a 109 post thread about whether or not we should be in a war or if bush is retarded or not I offer the following explanation of my comment which did get one laugh:

Wars cost $, many believe that the war is oil driven, oil companies are privately owned and set price levels (to some extent), gas is derived from oil, when the price of something goes up, more $ is incurred, this money can be used for sed company's private interests and in turn can be exchanged for goods and services. Was that smartassed enough for you? j/p

91 octane this morning was $2.54 here.

I gotta get used to buying 91, the xcal2 will be in tomorrow. I've been running it for a couple weeks now to cycle out the 87. Just glad its not my DD. BTW lance, do you run any octane booster, I heard somewhere you should just incase detonation or pinging occurs.

The tunes are set for 91 (don't have 93 here) and just thought I'd run booster just to be on the safe side. Tuner and gears scheduled for delivery tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so happy!~

I paid $2.79 for 91 octane this morning.....you know, I'm not sure how it works in other states or local jurisdictions, but here in Cali, but the $2.79 I paid isn't the actual price of the gallon of gas....you have local and state gas taxes in that price so the actual price of gas is a little bit less....maybe 10-15 cents less per gallon...maybe less, maybe more I don't know, but my point is even as greedy as oil companies are, all of that money probably isn't going directly to them it's going back to the Gov help fix roads, build new roads or whatever it's designated for.......again, everywhere is different, but just something to think about.

With all that said....screw high gas prices!!!!!

Hey man, no matter how high its gonna get, I'm still gonna pay for the stuff. You can take all the corn fields in the United States and put it towards Ethanol (sp??) and you'd still only have enough to supplement 1/3rd of the automotive demand.

Americans will always pay for the gas man, no matter how much they bitch, they'll still be paying out of pocket for it.
