Which Saleen wheels:
 

OK, so, I'm gonna keep everything down as far as modding this year. I'm definately spending 750 and fixing all my bumpers to new again, no more cracks. Also a Saleen wing and a couple other small small things, such as taillight tint, saleen badges, window decal, antenna.
Only performance I'm doing are 4.10s, I'll be happy with that.
THE QUESTION: What rims, CHROME or WHITE?

I'm either gonna get KDW2 or Toyo TR-1 tires. 295/35 rear.

Can't find a pic with chrome, but I'm sure all of you can picture chrome just fine. BTW my car will look exactly like the car in the second pic. (both pics are the same car, except the first one has a center exhaust)

I vote white. Ive always liked that setup.

IMO white rims are one of the onlt way to make a white car look good that and dark tints

dude, it has to be white wheels... chrome just doesnt look right on a white car imo. unless its polished drag wheels, they look good on any color mustang. white saleens just look badass on a white saleen mustang...

White dude, go with your original theme.

The second pic is exactly what I'm goin after. I would do the center exhaust, but can't justify spending another 800 for the center configuration.
The only thing that might be different is I might not get the Saleen hood.

its the car that makes those pics look good, not the wheels... the white would definitely look better than the chrome.

The car, although different, is the exact same, same kit, same color, both the same saleen wing, same badges, both lowered.

That is an excellent comparison between white and chrome.

the reason i like white is because only time you'll ever see white rims is on a white car, esp. a white Saleen, Chrome rims are on just about allllll Saleen's, so it's not that 'special'

I think that one looks bad because, since it's a vert, and the Tonneau? cover is white, it's just way too much white

I hear you, the only problem I have with white wheels is that they are bland. They don't stand out enough for my taste.

i think it looks good like that but i may be alone on this one. but yeah i rarely see white rims on any car.

i heartedly agree, 100%. though, the white on that saleen looks better then any white wheels on any other car that i've seen ---- chrome is still better

Well. Here's how it'll go down.

If I get white rims. I'll get black reflective bumper letter, black chrome tips, grille delete (or paint factory grille white with black pony), basically allll white and black.

If I got chrome, then SS bumper letters, chrome tips, grille, delete.

the only problem with that pic is that the chrome stang is too low... the white looks much better - on white. white rims are only good on a white ride.
