Ran the New Charger......
 

Yea well I was cruisin down the interstate and a brand new Dodge Charger R/T pulls up beside me........I thought it was probably an old guy but it was a younger guy. He looks at my car and floors it without any signal. It pulled about 1 car before I put mine to the floor. I wasnt spraying it. I didnt want to. I wanted to see what mine would do against the new charger.

Well it was about what I expected. When I punched it I was at like 3000 rpm and it crept slowly because I was in 4th gear. He wasnt pulling all that hard either but he was slowly walking away from me. He pulled a good car Ill give him that but I picked up some ground around 4000rpm. I was gaining ground but it didnt look to me as if I was going to win and he didnt think so either. He let off when he got to his shift point and I was still in the powerband so I kinda did the ricer fly-by on accident.......:shifty:

Well I guess it was a respectable loss. Those cars make much more power than 99-04 GTs and I held with him pretty good. He didnt beat me bad at all. Maybe had me by 2 cars when he let off. He seemed faster than an 05 mustang. I probably would have had a better chance against him at lower speeds or from a stop. That big Hemi was just pumpin though.........:innocent:

i bet from a dead dig you would have killed him. i cant wait to see what the srt-8 model can do.

srt-8 at 425hp is gonna be a beast.....an ugly beast......lol

I saw a 300C SRT-8 get on it next to me one day. It seemed almost as fast if not as fast as an 03 cobra.

My parents got a 2005 300 touring (2 modles down from the hemi) last year and it has some get up and go. The first time i drive it and im alone it might not have any tireswhen im done.

I seen one of these yesterday at the Detroit Autorama. They said its making 400 plus at the wheels.

yea well all that "Super Bee" stuff is GAY Other than that it looks pretty badass.

I thought i read that the Dodge Charger R/T did a 14.3, and weighed as much as a cadillac deville. You telling me you think it was faster then a 05,06 mustang? It shouldn't of beat you.
