look i hate these threads also but please bear with me hear.. iv decided to ditch the s/c that i was gonna buy this month and instead im thinking of doing a lil N/A and then spray later on..
id really like to be in the 280-300 whp range and was wondering if yall thought this would put me thier... L/T headers xpipe catless flows vt stage one cams throtle body n plenum underdrive pulleys and a good 93 octane tune i feel like im leaving sumthing out but thats all for now would i make it?? |
It's possible but really wont know till you go get a duno but might as well kill two birds with one stone and get a dyno tune while your on there after you do the cams thats when you'll need it

I think you would be better-off spending the money on heads instead of headers. Have you considered a nice cam/head combo?

I think you should have the numbers you're looking for. I've seen cars with the same mods but without LT's making 274. My car made 270 without U/D's or cams

your kinda close to a supercharger with the money you'll spend on those mods.
Heard U/D pulley's are useless. I was doing gears, U/D pulleys, and Tb/Plenum for a long time, but then decided it isnt worth 1000 bux for 10-15RWHP. I'm saving a for a good used Vortech/Procharger. Then getting MPH heads and custom Cams to get the most power with my setup. Also with a blower first you base a lot of future mods with it first: EX: cams, gears, u/d pulleys u wouldnt need, etc. |
with those mods you wont hit 300rwhp you need more aggrisive camshaft.
And i wouldnt bother with heads, once you have nitrous your gonna be really close to max power these blocks can handle. my opinion if you want close to 300rwhp get atleast comp 270 or VT stage 2 cams along with all those mods you have listed and some sort of better breathing in the intake side IE a cheap cai or cut the stock air box with a K&N. that will be close to or at 300rwhp (in a manual). Then on the bottle a small 100shot will give you close to max what these short blocks can handle. |
