Installing a Raptor
For those interested in buying a raptor shift light, I just mounted one tonight and noticed something interesting.
If you look at the guage pod, you will see two black screws going upward holding the plastic trim in place. If you remove the screw on the left, you can place the raptor bracket right in that recess and then thread the screw back in place. The shift light will then hang-down from the left side. It is a perfect place to mount the shift light and is angled perfectly at the driver and not blocked by the steering wheel. The screw on the right, will not work. This will save some effort and prevent you from drilling any holes. |
alrighty...good info...
lol ;) does it throw a code? |
Nope....cuz it ain't wired up yet. I will finnish tomorrow night.

nice take pictures, i think after I get the clutch quadrant, short throw, the raptor will be my next toy...then it's a mix of body and rear end...

Well he bought my shift light which was throwing the code P1233 "Fuel Pump Disabled" on my car. And last I talked to him he got it hooked up and it DID NOT throw a code :wallbash: So I have no idea why it threw one on mine. I really want another one too lol

It is installed and seems to work fine. No SES, although I have only driven it a few miles. This is the same, exact light that csledd had.
