Exhaust for 02 mustang GT
hey guys i have the magnaflow magnapack on my 02 stang and i was wondering what was the nicest looking, sounding exhaust for a stang i want it to be loud!
Just add an X pipe.It will really wake up your Magnapacks!!!!!!!!!
my friends brother has an 01 gt with the borla stinger catback catted x pipe and jba shorty headers i think this is the best sounding exhaust i have heard on a mustang
but add an x or h pipe and you will be very pleased |
which one though looking at mustangtuning and theres like 20!
do you want to keep it legal and get a catted pipe or an off road pipe
doesnt matter legal or not uncles owns auto shop no prob for inspection stickers :)
ied say get the mac prochamber from mustangtuning but get the offroad one since u have a good uncle
But if you're looking into getting long tube headers, wait off so you don't have to buy 2 different mid-pipes. But with the magnapacks, a magnaflow tru-X catted or uncatted will be the most responsive.

I have the catted Magnaflow X and it made a huge difference in the sound.I love it :punk: |
Since you want it loud and your uncle's cool, get an offroad X or H pipe. Go with the X if you want it to flat out scream at higher rpms, or an H if you want that old school rumble musclecar sound. Either way, it's going to be loud! :punk:

ya i deff wanna make it louder prob go with a x-pipe, we just got like 6 inches of snow in boston and shes all covered up i cant wait till the summer to start modding!!

bypassing the stickers doesnt mean anything. If you get caught doing something and your vehicle gets inspected, you will be cited or your vehicle taken away (depending on the situation) for it not being street legal. If I were you, id look at the SLP Xpipe because it has a clamp design for cats. There is 2 clamps on each cat so you can remove them and put them back on fairly easy. You would just have to buy the race pipes or have your own fabricated so slide in place of the cats.
