Header Stud Issue

This is a pain.....I changed the MAC gasket on my prochamber to OEM one. Now I was tightening the nuts to connect the header to the prochamber AGAIN. Now the problem is that the nut stopped turning halfway up..not good try to back it out. Stud starts turning with the nut...uh oh times 2.....now what i'm thinking I should just take it to a exhaust shop and tell them to get the one nut off and re tap that stud and torque down some new nuts...i'm sick of dealing with this.....any thoughts on this or how to get that nut off myself I hate driving with a exhaust leak

get shorty headers then you will have extra hp and no more problems. i have seen the ford ones for as cheap as $100 on ebay.

or longtubes, much easier to connect the midpipe :) those stock studs suck!

Do you have to take the k-member down to do shorty headers?....or what?...Easy hard? $100 would be worth it.......
