Shift Stops question

I am confused on the shift stop thing. I just got my mgw and it says tremec 3650 does not need them. Did you guys do it anyways? All these warnings are freakin me out any advice on setting them?

The 3650 has stoppers built in already so dont use them on the short throw. If you use them and they are done incorrectly, you can do a lot more damage. Steeda and (i think mgw does) include instructions to set them on the 3650 if you really really are determined to use them.

That's one reason I bought an aftermarket shifter.Adjust them to spec.and use blue Loctite on the threads.
