Would an x pipe for a 1998 corba fit my 1998 gt??? ( Its bassani)

all 96-04 modular mustangs share mid pipes, sohc fits dohc vis-versa.

96-98 have different midpipes (header hookup) than the 99-04's do.

Shortys on the otherhand, are pretty much the same.

I found a better solution to this problem with trying to find a new mid pipe for my car.....Just bought a BRAND NEW catted Prochamber that is MADE for my car for $300............oh yeah...just buy something you know is going to fit is what i'm trying to say if you dont know and people are trying to figure out if it will fit or not isnt worth the trouble

Not true, 96-98 are only different in the fact that they have exhasut hangers on the mid pipe and the 99-04 do not. other than that they all are the same and will interchange with them all.

I know i have a Mid pipe from a 97 GT with a cobra swap, so there :p

Iam not sure about that cause when i bought my 99Gt Brand new!! i tried getting a mid-pipe from MAC when they first came out and they claimed to have sent me the wrong one. It was from a 98GT and it didnt fit cause of the Hangers? and some other problem i cant recall right now? but i have herd people saying that some mid-pipes are interchangeable :confused: btw even on 99-04s there are some differences such as 02 sensor connectors some are longer! I just sold my MAC catted H-pipe to a guy with an 04 and the 02wiring was alittle longer so it just didnt bolt on :mad:

like i said my h-pipe is from a 97.

The O2 were a bit farther down liek most aftermarket h-pipes and all i had to do was extend the wires to the o2's no problem.
