tie rods install?

i went in for an alignment the other day and they said my one tie rod was shot on the driver side so it wouldn't hold a good alignment. so im gonna go ahead and get both sides done but how hard is the install? i did springs and ball joints on my car so im wondering if there much more difficult? i want to get a bumpsteer kit but would this fix my tie rods because i need both inner and outer rods..?not sure about tie rods as you can see ha.

If you can do the ball joints then you should be fine on the tie rods. I changed the the ball joint and put Steeda x2's and their bump steer kit on at the same time. It wasn't to bad, but the bump steer is just the outer tie rods.

I had to do this the other year to for the same reason as well, I rented the tool from O'Reilly's which made it much easier to tackle

I dont know if the tie rods are like other vehicles, but I would mark where they are on the threads before u remove them.

No, the bump steer replaces those, but I would say you still need the inside tie rod.
