low temperature switch
 

anyone know where to get a direct replacement coolant temperature switch that has a lower setting than the stock one? i have stumbled across them before but stupid me never bookmarked it. i want my electric fan to come on a little sooner. i have replaced the sending unit and switch before so i want something a little lower temperature than stock settings. autozone has two different color ones but they couldn't tell me what the colors meant so i just got the one that i already had on there. if anyone knows which color kicks it on at which temperature i would like to know that as well.

and i don't have 300 dollars for a tuner which i know u can adjust that stuff that way.

You do that in the tune. Don't go replacing sensors, you'll fuck up the existing tune. If you want the car to run a little cooler then drop in a 180deg thermostat.

no, i don't have a tune or a tuner. i have a 180 thermostat in there already, i just want the fan to come on before it gets to 220 or whatever the factory settings are. they sell aftermarket sensors and switches that will kick the fan on earlier. i have seen them before i just cant remember where.
