EDIT: i got a wierd problem. when the battery is fully charged, it starts just fine. the alternator is fine, cause i drive it 20 minutes to work and back. each time i start the car from shutting it off, the battery gets weaker and weaker, like it isn't charging. is either the battery or the voltage regulator bad on it?

Why did you buy a 1987 Celebrity? :D

Lol, jk. Did you check your battery ground?

I used to have a 1986 Buick LeSabre...

Like this, but mine was silver with a red interior.

So got any sweet cool mods in mind for your new ride?

hmm, lets see...

check out the alternator, make sure it works.
replace front left brake rotor, get new pads for both sides, front.
get a holddown spring kit for the rear drums, new shoes as well.
go to pick and pull, replace the driver door with a door that isn't rusted through. primer the entire car, paint flat black.
replace the window motors. make sure all power door locks work as well.
fix the back left doorhandle.
eventually rebuild the engine. (it has piston slap)
replace intake hoses. (they are old)
replace the wires, plugs, and oil change.
new tires and lug nuts.

other than that, nothing. i drove it home the first day i got it.

I wouldn't spend one dollar on that car until it could not move. Then I would maybe spend a dollar on it.
