tuner question

My neighbor has a diablosport preditor and claims that he can tune more than just 1 mustang with the same tuner, but from what i understand a tuner gets locked to a car when you tune it...or is this just with the xcal. i never tried to tune more than 1 car back when i had my xcal.

Some can be unlocked and cracked, but they don't come that way.

He can only custom tune "1" car at a time, that car "HAS" to be returned to the stock factory tune before he can tune another car with the same tuner. He can use the tuner to read and clear trouble codes on different cars without changing any tunes.

lulz, hes a fuckin lier, he kept sayin "Deeewwwwd i've tuned like 50 mustangs with this thing" and wouldn't you know it, we walked out to my car and of coarse "This tool is not licensed with this vehicle". Then he tried to blame my car, so we walked over to my buddies GT and guess what happened. He was like "Man something must be broken, I don't get it"

Haha yeah, you can only have the tune loaded onto one car at a time. If he were to tune your car, he'd have to return his to stock.

I dont think I would let him tune on my car, tell him the Space Shuttle needs a quick tune before launch, ask him to take care of that real quick:D

Common sense should of told him that they would put a lot of security into those tuner. So that you don't split the cost of a tuner with like 5 people and use it on a shit ton of cars.

his tuner is for his car. it would need to be flashed to work on another car. p.s. dont waste your money on a tuner unless you have a lot of mods...getting a dyno and custom tune is well more bang for the buck!
