Borla XR-1 Mufflers..
 

How would these sound with a VRS X-pipe? or even with a stock H? I've google'd it, but there aren't many videos of regular 2v's that aren't boosted in some way with them.

I'm basically trying to find something that is pretty damned loud.. If it's loud and obnoxious I will like it. Seriously, I'm the kind of guy that likes lm1's.. :eek: :D

1) loudmouths for the lose.

2) you will not like something obnoxiously loud after 3 days of driving it.

3) Get a Bassani catback. Call it a day.

If you like loud, go with full SLP. I like it loud and obnoxious as well. I've had my exhaust for 7 months and I haven't gotten tired of it. Sounds as balls-ass as it can get.

I have never heard the Borlas you are talking about on a 2V. I have however, heard Borla Stingers on a Mach and they sounded BEAUTIFUL.

Borla's usually quieter, but they're still one of my favorite mufflers.

3) Not spending anywhere near that amount of money for exhaust.

I don't think borlas are going to give you the loud ass sound you are looking for. I love my combo. It's deep and rumbles down low and at WOT is screams loudly. Long tubes, o/r x-pipe, and flowmaster mufflers dumped.

I'm considering flows, but at the same time I don't really want to have the same thing that everyone else has.. I was thinking maybe something like the XR-1's because they're a "racing" muffler and thought that they might be a little more wild setup.. But I can't find any proof of that.

IDK.. I'm thinking LM1's with the VRS X pipe for the time being. LT's sometime in the next few months.

Flows and LM1's FTL. Don't do it our cars! Our cars sound great with even a decent set up.

Plus, Bassani is wayyy over priced. I mean $400 for a O/R X-Pipe on an 05-09???? They're almost as bad as MagnaFlow....

These damned Aero chambers are sooooo quiet except for @ WOT. I'm gonna put the X-pipe on it after I got through emissions and see what that does before I do anything else, but I can't take it being this quiet for too long, they're almost as quiet as magnaflows..

they arent quiet without cats man... they aren't LM1 loud...but thats just shitty loud anyway... at least your going to try the Aeros without cats.

My flows sound badass with my setup. Get compliments on the time. There's really only a few good options out there, so no matter what you pick, you won't be all the unique. Just find what you think sounds best and what you are going for.

Ohh ok my bad, I wasn't trying to dog on it if you did I was just wondering. I had Bassani on my SVT Focus but that's because it was them or Borla and the Bassani was center exit but it costed $300 more and the only real difference was the fact that it was chromed. I just never personally cared for it.

I don't know man... my friend has magnaflow magnapacks and they're almost as loud as loudmouths if not louder.

I don't think I'm a very good person to give advice about exhaust and sound quality. I need to get a video/sound clip, but I've got no mufflers and I think it sounds good. I'd probably even rock any muffler, but I bet even LM1 mufflers would make my car quieter. I've never heard XR-1 mufflers so IDK.

Borla ftw .. i have a bassani xpipe and borla stingers and people know when I am coming
