Quick Clutch Question
Just curious on how many springs does the clutch disc's hub have on a stock 11" set-up for the TR3650. I was under the impression that 5 springs was stock but mine had 4.
I think it depends on the clutch manufacturer. I don't believe that the 3650 clutches has to have a certain number of springs. I don't have any evidence of that though.
Well, I know the number doesn't have to be specific but I thought stock was 5. I was just wondering since I want to know if the clutch was indeed stock or not since I seem to always find surprises w/ my car.
Oh ok, I see now. I don't know. Would like to hear the answer also, I don't believe my clutch is stock. So maybe someday when I change it I could find out.
Mine had 5 on the stock clutch.
That's what I figured, since most stock replacements I've seen had 5 too. Strange too since I got car w/ 17k on it. Seems a bit early for a clutch swap...
Unless someone grenaded the tranny before you had it.
Wouldn't be surprising, given the car's history.
